Artistic Mission
Feed your soul.
Assuming your soul is connected to creativity and has bits of affection for Rock, Pop, and Classical Music.

We mean the creativity part. We create new music in and around old(er) tunes. Radically, by some folks' standards.

And we create this music on a level that has brought our ensemble members to concert stages, repeatedly, with the likes of Peter Erskine, Randy Brecker, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and oodles of others.

We are performers. We are teachers. We thrive on the notion that our visits bring an evolved artistry to a community.

We bring Beethoven’s symphonic literature, Tchaikovsky’s, pop hits by The Police,  -the list goes on and on, in any one of thousands of programmatic variations that a given community inspires.

Led by a ‘Music Doctor’, the Joshua Davis Group supports parts of the musical experience (every few pieces) with light-hearted narrative introducing some of the musical directions that evolve over the course of a piece.

We strive for connection. We play groovy grooves and recognizable themes in and around our own writing and interpretation.
